How to manage Delegated Administration Service

(Managing Delegated Administration Service)

LESSON19

To create a user by using OID Self-Service Console, open a browser window, and then access to OID Self Service console by using the following hyper link:

http://<yourhost.domain>:7777:oiddas

In the SSO login page, enter the username (orcladmin) and its password. Select the Directory tab. Now, you will be able to create users, groups, services, and applications.

Remember that you can create users by using oidadmin tool, portal administration tool, and oiddas.

I strongly recommend using the “oiddas” web-based tool. It is easier and you don’t need to be concerned about so many other attributes that you don’t need.

You can edit, delete, and assign privileges to users, groups, services, and applications. You can unlock, enable and disable an account.

You also create, edit, or delete users in bulk specify an LDIF (LDAP Data Interchange Format) file containing users’ data.
